A/C "clicking" when turned on
No matter what level the A/C or Heat is turned onto. It makes a very annoying clicking noise. I know it's the A/C or Heat because when I shut it off it slowly dies down to dead. I'd rather not have to bring my car into the dealer. Any ideas?
Thanks

This is a known problem with the fans in these cars. I have had the same problem for over a year. Last I heard, the fix is for them to cut open your HVAC tubing and replace the fan with another of the same quality. They were working on improving the quality, just not sure that ever happened.

Its soooooo frustrating. Especially having someone in the car that doesn't like to listen to music (someone from my work), so its a cricket ride the whole way.

Same issue here, only mine squeaks. It's a high pitched squeaking noise and slows as you turn the fan down. 2 different dealers have told me "Well, we didn't hear anything?"

I haven't heard a "clicking" sound from the AC area, but everytime I choose a different setting (vents, floor, Etc) i here like a faint static "zap" noise....Dealership told me its normal because its electrically controlled.....
