Arrow With much regret, I need to give up my allocation. Current Status 3000

This comes with much regret, I hate even writing this up here but I had a couple BIG (bad) things come up in the last few weeks that has taken pretty much all the funds I had saved up to put down on this car. I can still afford the car however, not in the means I had wished to do so. I'll admit, things would be tight if I went through with getting the car at this point and that's not something I wish to place on myself and my family especially if some other major event happens. So hopefully I can quickly save back up and get the 2013 . Unless QC continued for a couple more months... which I doubt. (It will probably be lifted now that I have put this out.)

Also FYI, I placed a $2,000 non-refundable deposit with my dealer. And so you know what I'm thinking and to be completely honest from the get go, I was hoping I could work them into getting it back from them by having someone lined up to take my place right away (prefered) or having the $2,000 applied to whoever is serious about taking this off my hands and me getting it from whoever that is. I feel this is fair and by doing it this way the dealership may work with me but I know they don't have to and I'm not expecting them to agree with it but I guess I'll see. I expect to get bombarded with PM's so only PM me if your serious and please just be patient with me on replying.

That said I am needing to give up my ZL1, details are below, my dealer does not know about any of this yet so don't waste your time if your wanting to call them. Once I make an agreement with someone here that is willing to do the second part of what I said above and in-case the dealership doesn't want to do what I preferred, then I'll call the dealership to see if they will work it the way I want and provide their contact information to you if so. Then you can verify what I'm wanting to do with them and we can go from there.

At MSRP
Status: 3000
Options: GBA, RSK, MN6, CF5, S0O, SGC
Black
Black Rims
Black Carbon Fiber Hood Extractor
Manual Transmission
Sunroof
Spare Tire Delete
Leather Steering Wheel and Snifter (not suede) and
Footwell Lighting (if you don't want this you can probably get it taken off since it's dealer installed)

I can't believe I'm giving this up. But I know for me, it's the right thing to do even if I loose 2k in the process.

Check with your state attorney generals office to make sure the non-refundable deposit is legal. just in case your dealer is an ass.

Check, as I was told by a reliable top tier dealer, that they could not hold your deposit. It's not buyers remorse, as the car hasn't been delivered yet!

Dude, it's OK, things happen. If things aren't OK, you did the right thing.

Better to give it up before signing the papers. Once you sign the papers, you'll pretty much get hammered unless you find someone who has to have that car.

Feel for you

Must be really hard to give it up when getting this close. But do what you have to do.There will be another day for you maybe even at a better price. Good luck. They say sh--t happens and how you deal with is all that matters.
