show us your pressure vent Mods
Was thinking bout doing something to stop my vents from that rattle. I know a few people on here had some good ideas on how to do it with some pretty simple mods, I was just wondering if any of you guys had pics of what you did...

I would also like to see what you guys did to stop this annoying rattle. I was planning on putting some thing weatherstripping on them when it gets a little warmer down here.

I'm not familiar with the pressure vent rattle, but I know you can't just cover them up. If you block them off then you're going to have a hard time closing the trunk as the air won't have anywhere to go.

I've heard of people either using weatherstripping or tape on the outside edges or covering them with dynamat and cutting holes to maintain functionality.

Was wondering this same thing. Do I have to take the trunkliner out to stop these from flapping?

well I have never heard any rattling ....... but for those that do.....if it not to bad, there is a knob on your dash or your steering wheel if so aequiped that will do the trick....its the labled VOLUME. either twist it or hit the + sign.
HAPPY MORTORING!!!

They have rubber flaps/diaphragms on the outside that cause the rattling sound.
For many years on Many custom cars (and my own) I've simply covered them on the inside with a piece of damping material (dynamat). I've never had a problem with the pressure differential .. It simply equalizes inside the interior. HAPPY BASSING!
