What would you do?

I have had my 2010 SS M6 since Feb of last year and really enjoy it. So far I have only done a roto fab cold air kit, otherwise it is stock. at this point i can thow about 14k into it for mods or i can leave it stock and buy another toy. I always get a manual and then want to just cruise in an automatic every once in a while.

I found a 2002 Camaro SS with the 35th anniversary package that is an auto, t-tops and center mount exhaust with under 45k miles that would cost me around what i could put in the 2010 for mods. the car is clean with the original floormats still in plastic. I've always liked the 4th gens after prior owning a 96 SS and a 2000 SS.

decisions.........

I love the 2002 Anniversary Edition. Pics?? I would definitely be tempted to buy it if I were in your shoes.

I like toys so I would go with the 35th anniversary edition. I'm guessing if you have 14k to throw at mods then your cars paid off. Assuming this, you could probably mod both shortly down the road.

As hard of a decision that is, I'd pick up the 35th. Two is better than one. Plus when is the next time you're going to come across another 35th in that condition that you say it's in.

2 cars means 2 insurance payments, 2 cars to maintain, 2 parking spaces taken up, etc.

I say you keep just the camaro and spend like $8k on mods, cam it, lower it, and exhaust, or something of that nature. You don't need to go all out.

Then you'll have $6k+ for future mods or emergency money. You never know what can happen.

yes mods could always come later for the 5th gen and its paid off so it would be over time that i could do things to it and i would leave the 02 alone, in terms of mods.............

Go for it IF ?

Go for it if you have the space and the time to devote to maintaining both of them like they should be. Sounds nice but it might get old after while maintaining and washing, waxing, detailing. If you have some help might be a piece of cake.Alone you will spend more time working on them than driving.Just a thought.

Sell your SS and put a big down payment on a 2013 ZL1 automatic!
