Opinions on Magnaflow 16580, 16483 or Corsa 14952

All 3 are Cat-Backs. these are the 3 im most likely leaning towards and would like to have some opinions. i heard the magnaflow 16580 is very very loud, heard the corsa is perfect from various friends so i figured i would get opinions on the people who actually own any of the top 3 as it would help alot and would be greatly appreciated cause youtube videos just are not cutting it. fyi i have a 2010 L99 2SS. thanks everyone !

I've got the 16580 on my L99...sounds awesome! 16483 is an axle back, I think. Another member I regularly hang with has the Corsa...loves it to death. Good choices either way, just depends on what sound you want.

the 16580 was my 1st initial choice but then i heard that its ridiculously loud.

I have the 16483 Magnaflow with Kooks Lt's and cats The 16483 is a full cat back. It has a deep sound and is quiet inside the car. When you stand on the gas it roars. It's the best of both worlds for me.

I saw a used corsa on here for sale with only a few miles on it. I had the 16483 and I had alot of drone with LT, HF cats. The corsa is supposed to be one of the best for no drone.

I've got the 16483 and JBA mid pipes with high flow cats. Loud but not obnoxious.

Ok, my bad...I had the part numbers wrong. MagnaFlow makes some great sounding exhausts. The 16580 does have a bit of a drone. I'll check that one out. I bet it sounds really nice. Sorry if I got the numbers wrong OP.

the 16483 is just a tad louder than the stock exhaust..to me, it was not loud enough.

It's all going to make a difference on if you have Long Tube Headers or HF cats or stock headers. They make the cat-backs sound different.

The 3" Comp Magnaflow (16483) is too quiet if you have the stock headers. However, add LT headers and the sound is really good. I haven't heard any drone with this setup and the decel popping is virtually gone. This will be the same with the 2.5" cat-back with the street mufflers (I don't have the part # memorized).

The 2.5" Comp cat-back, the one that's the muffler delete with the resonated x-pipe, sounds pretty good with the stock headers. Not too loud but there is definately an increase in the decel popping as well as a little drone under certain situations. Nothing that is bad though. Now, add LT headers or HF cats to this setup and most people think it's too loud. Some like it loud though so depending on your preference it might be the way to go.

You should consider if you plan do to LT headers or HF cats now or down the road. This should influence your decision on which cat-back to get.

BTW: JDP Motorsports usually has the best prices on Magnaflow stuff. You have to call them and get a quote. Don't go by the web prices. Let them know you're on Camaro5. Get some quotes from other vendors first and then call JDP and you'll see the price difference I'm talking about.
