What is everyone doing to care for the exhaust opening? I want to leave it unpainted but it's starting to look dingy. Will Adam's metal polish clean it up? If so, which one, #1, #2 or both. I don't even know if this opening is clear coated or not. I'm thinking it's not.

Clean them first with a product like All Purpose Cleaner and water. That'll break down the grime. Rinse well and do not let the Cleaner dry on the surface at all. Then a few swipes with either metal polish will tell you whether they are clear coated or not. If you get a black residue, they are not clear coated. If you get no black residue, they ARE clear coated and you would treat them like paint and skip over using any metal polish.

Metal Polish (#1) is the more aggressive of the 2 Adam's polishes, but both are very gentle. If you have to use #1, then finish up with #2 to make them really shine.
