Are all mass cops like this ?

I went to my Son's house in Ma Saturday morning. I was driving through Main St in Hopkinton off I-495 when I got stopped by a town cop for no reason imo. Chewed me out for 10 minutes yelling/screaming: "You were driving aggressively." & "Just because you have a beautiful car doesn't mean you can drive like that in my town", etc, etc.
I thought for sure I was going to get a ticket but when he came back to my car he was a totally different person. He handed me a warning only which states: "Speed greater than reasonable". He then talked to me awhile and left.
I'm glad I didn't get a ticket but I think
1) He had too much time on his hands.
2) these Camaros are cop magnets.
PS: I guess he never noticed my missing front plate-lol.

my experience with MA cops...ive been pulled over twice in my car...both verbal warnings...both referred to my dealer...both purchased lol...hows that for ya?

Since you were from out of state maybe he didn't realize you needed one. I know when I worked in Connecticut and lived in Massachusetts the cops in Connecticut would never bother me for my expired MA inspection sticker.

Yep- Said I couldn't drive "like that on his streets". I didn't go into all of what was said here by him
but he mentioned the SS at least 3 times saying it was "no excuse" to drive aggressively.....Beautiful car BUT!!!
TRC-SS: Why would this thread be shut down ? It's all about my Camaro. If I was in a regular car he never
would have stopped and broken them on me imo. He walked all around the car looking at it.
Again, just nothing else to do imo and I was doing nothing but following traffic on Main St, I then made
a full stop at a red light and made a right onto a small side street where he pulled me over.
My Solos probably didn't help but he never mentioned them.
I have a lot of respect for the police but this guy was a real bozo imo.

Thread should/will be closed due to the fact that it violates Camaro5 rules. No cop threads that indicate bashing. Eventho you didnt mean it in that way,you indicated that the cop "had nothing better to do"...Car is a "cop magnet"....he had "too much time on his hands" and the top it off you just finished calling a cop "a real Bozo"

These threads dont belong on forums such as these, they give no knowledge to the people who view the site and they go nowhere but open a can of worms to those who dislike police. There are hundreds of cops on this forum who own camaros and even cops who are moderators.

As far as the Camaro being "cop magnets" thats untrue. Go on any car forum, pruis, honda, corvette, camaro, dodge trucks ect they all have threads about thier cars being cop magnets....the magnet part is in how you drive it, you already admitted you have loud exhaust and no front plate, both violations.

As you can probably figure out i am a police officer in Massachusetts and have been for 9 years. I got my Camaro as a hobby and a nice way to relieve the stress from my job. I joined this forum to meet people who share the same passion as i do in their cars. The last thing i want to view on this forum is crap like this thread.
