dome light blown fuse?

im not sure what to do right now. i was setting up my footwell lighting and i accidently touched the ground to power, and the power is connected to the dome light and the dome light went out. I just expected it to come back on, but it still hasnt come on...does anyone know what i can do to fix this?

I know this sounds stupid, but did you check the fuse for the dome light? If you have and the fuse is good, I would replace the dome light.

I blew the fuse for this... it's a 20A fuse I believe. Went to autozone and bought a new one. I'll see if I can find out which one it is exactly. Can't remember.

Edit: It's fuse #33 - 20 amp and it's yellow.

thanks AACstyle but that was not the problem.

Mack, i will try replacing the fuse and hope for the best. Ill let you know what happens. thanks man

What do you mean the URL of it? Just pop open the fuse box and look for #33.

haha sorry i dont even know what i was trying to say there...well anyways i went and bought some 20A fuses and popped it right in and that was the problem. And i just learned that there is a tool used to remove the fuses inside the fuse box. Pretty cool. Thanks for the help MackMan

Awesome! Glad it fixed it. Didn't know there was a tool for taking them out I usually just use needle nose pliers. Works like a charm.
