R6P code on the RPO sticker?
For all that have taken delivery (and anyone that knows): If you pre-ordered (i.e. placed your confirmed sold order prior to March 16th) have you looked for the R6P code on your RPO code sticker yet? I was back at the dealer today and I noticed the RPO code sticker is under the trunk mat rather than in the glove box and I was shocked to notice that there was no R6P code on it
 WTF - I thought every car that was pre-ordered was supposed to have this RPO code?  I mean I'll get over it, but that was supposedly one of the "benefits" of the pre-order.

R6P is a processing code, not an RPO.
That's why it's not on the parts ID tag.

So where does it show up? I've heard and read in a couple spots that this code is supposed to be documented / evidenced somewhere.

I thought I read that Canadians won't see the R6P code. GM Canada didn't think it was important to us?

hey guys I don't have a camaro or anything but I found this question on google.
R6P is the rpo code for premium paint, not early orders edit: if GM told you it would have R6P then you'd have something out of the ordinary on your paint... either stripes, pinstriping, special paint etc etc. If you were told they would give this to you in writing and you still have the letter then I would go ask the dealer where your pinstripes are!!! : ) |

My car was ordered on Dec.05 2008 and was definitly R6P, the original window sticker shows early order activity but when my dealer ordered a duplicate window sticker for me it is not on it! and whatever that spastic squirrel is does not show mine as R6P either...
I do ponder what happened to it, then I go and bark 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th to get over it  ________ Ship sale Last edited by superstockcam; 04-19-2011 at 04:02 AM. |

It's not on all of the WS either............I never got the original. All the dealer could get was a REPRINT. If anyone can help me obtain an ORIGINAL I would appreciate it.
I did however get the blank shipping WS that says the car is NOT FOR SALE........so that's something I guess.
