You're going to get a million answers to that. Good based on what? Longevity, shine, ease of application, price...etc etc....

I distribute the Adam's line in Florida. I can tell you the plusses of their products: Made in the USA, easy to apply, 110% money back guarantee, AMAZING shine, over the top customer service and a forum with other users that are always willing to help.

Thats just me though.

If you are doing it absolutely today I suggest Turtle Wax Ice. Before the crowd pours in to shout Adams or Zaino and also flame me for suggesting anything TurtleWax, I recommend it because I have used it on a black car in the past with great results & also because you said you need it today.

If you're doing it today, and must buy it OTC, you can't beat Mother's PURE Nuba I stress pure because the cleaner wax isn't that great. Surf City Garage and Autoglym HD are also very nice. If I had to choose one for durability, it'd be Autoglym HD. Looks go to Mothers and Surf City.

That 110% guarantee sounds nice but it has to be bought through Adams not anywhere else. Otherwise you are going to have a bad time.

Look into Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax. It is super easy to apply and remove.

That's not exactly true. Adam's backs up the products purchased directly through them, and dealers have the option. I honor the guarantee, all prices and all discounts.

Not at all true... if you purchase any of our products and have an issue its covered... all we ask is that you have some proof of purchase if it wasn't purchased directly thru us. Most all of the dealers will honor the guarantee, and if they won't we will. If you have an issue and return a product to a dealer they will in turn make a claim with us, so in the end it all ends up in our hands.

Before I started using Adam's, I had great success with Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0. It goes on and off easily and gives it a good shine. However, it has low durability (about 2-3 months).

I use McGuires. They have really good stuff whether it be tire shine, car soap or wax. I just waxed mine yesterday. Got the car half done by hand before I said I will finish the other half another day. Took me 3 hours to do just half the car by hand. I have a orbital applicator that was given to me a couple years ago. i thought it was corded until I opened it up and saw that I had to charge the batteries and that is why i did it all by hand.
