Camaro in Kansas City

Hi everyone. I am newly registered but I have been creeping around the forums for some time. I hadn't seen a post about this car so I thought I would let everyone know. Superior Chevrolet in Merriam, Kansas (basically Kansas City) has a 2010 Camaro 2LT RS with black rallys at their dealership. It came in last week and I went and saw it. Today I actually got to ride in it! Kenneth Ussery their internet sales manager took me for a ride. If your reading this Kenneth thanks! I hope this isn't a repost. I hadn't seen any threads about it so if this is a repost the mods can delete it. I am going to try and post photos. Also, Superior is out of brochures but if anyone really wants one Kindred Chevrolet in Smithville has some brochures. I went and picked one up. The guys at Kindred are really nice and won't hassle you so don't be nervous about stopping in.

So, the car! The Camaro at Superior is loaded up. It features everything but a sunroof. It has leather, boston acoustics, 20's, rally stripes, automatic w/ tapshift. Loaded. Let me just say GM nailed this car. It is the nicest GM car I have ever been in. It is built like a Honda and drives purely American. It is so smooth. For all you guys that are getting the V6 you are in no way settling! The V6 puts you back in your seat. Plenty of power. The whole car is amazing. I felt like a celebrity when I was in it too. I think this is the only one in the Kansas City area right now so it was probably the first time people got to see the car. People were tailing us, pulling out their camera phones, and most importantly they were smiling. When we were drving the car a Honda Element got in our way while we were trying to exit and whenever the driver realized a Camaro was trying to get through he quickly put the brakes on to get out of the way! Clearly, he was afraid that the Camaro might devour his little Element if he stayed in our path. So if anyone in Kansas City wants to see this car go to Superior they have one. If your looking for someone nice to talk to and help you with the car Kenneth is the guy to go to. He is really helpful and polite. Good guy! Here are the pics:

There are others already in the K.C. area though.. Morse Chevy in Overland Park got their first sold order (black 2SS) about two weeks ago which I stopped by to see.. Very nice!

Drove that car and wrote a review in the General forum. Didn't like the $5,000 mark up on it.

I drove that one on the 9th of May....Considered buying it, but no sunroof and extra $5K was a bit much...ordered the cyber grey met. Now......I wait.

I ordered from Superior Chevy and know the Silver w/Rally stripes that you are talking about. I've driven it twice, and they took the time to show me how to work the gear shifts on the wheel and everything. They also had a 2SS IBM w/white stripes (i don't understand why everyone wants stripes, but i guess that'll make mine more unique). It was beautiful. Since then my 'personal dealer' (I call him, name is Erik Stone) has texted me with each new color that I haven't seen. So far at this dealership i have seen multiple black cars, the silver with black stripes, IBM with white stripes, Rally red w/grey interior, Jewel Red w/beige interior and sunroof (gorgeous), IOM w/orange and black interior, and a black with orange stripes and orange interior. I stop by about once a week or bi-weekly and they usually have a different one out on the patio or in the show room floor. They've been great about working with me, know me on a first name basis, and I can't get away with walking up to each new car without someone coming out to say hi. One time I walked up to a new car and they recognized me from inside so they unlocked it for me from inside the dealership! I love these guys!

We went around the city today just looking at Camaros. Cable/Dahmer Noland Road: Black 1LT w/cloth. Cable Dahmer Wornall Road: Yellow 2SS RS w/black rallies, SOLD Car. Morse Chevrolet on Metcalf: ABM, (first we've seen), 1LT on showroom floor. Superior: Red Jewell SS w/single black rally stripe in service entrance bay.
We saw 2 others on the road in Independence. Silver RS, and a Red w/rally stripes 1LT.
Our goal was to find an ABM because we hadn't seen one and when we saw it, our minds were set to rest that that was the color we wanted and had ordered.
