Third Annual Hare Chevrolet Camaro Rally

OK Guys and Dolls, the word from Courtney Cox Cole today is that Hare wants to host yet another Camaro Rally for us. They would like to lock down a date this week however. This being said, the Saturday before Father's Day had been mentioned and met with some grumbling including myself, so Courtney wondered if either the Saturday before or after Father's Day was doable or some have suggested a date in September.

There are a lot of things going on in Indy this year, with IMS events, Car Shows and of course CfestIII, a date in September would allow for possibly some cooler weather and time to plan a last summer blast!

So this being said, I need your input and help. Thanks ahead of time Danny!

So, if you could be so kind as to me you on this event and let me know what you think will work for an even bigger and better Camaro Rally.

Sounds great guys and please vote on it so no one can say I made this decision alone. Courtney would like to have a date locked by weeks end and its OK with her if its September but she wants something we can work toward. I think Hamilton Town Center would be a great place and of course if all else fails, we have the Kohls lot again. Want this to be a really big deal, again!

Looking to get another nod for 'Best of Show' award? You're going to have to bring it this year. I've seen hints of what Steve and Hank have done during the offseason and these guys are really taking it to another level.

Nope, I am not counting on that, and that's not really my goal. I have seen some of their teaser pics too, and I know I can't compete with some of the things those guys are doing. However, as you know I too have a few things on the way and still have a few more plans I hope to get done by the time we get to the show.

I just really like seeing all the different ways people make their Camaro's their own, and to this day the Hare meets and dyno day @ Norris Motorsports have been the only C5 events I have been to. Now that they just posted the attendance fees, I can't think of any reason I won't be at C5F3 though.

Yea, know what you mean on the above. I'm pretty much done with mine, I think? Seems like I always see something I like better than what I have or just to make it my own. Like I told Hank, these cars are a blank canvas that we as artist can be as creative as we like to make it our very own. I love that part and continue to make it a 'Work In Progress' type of thing.

BTW Cole, did you get those pics your requested?

I voted for September. As for the specific date, you may want to keep in mind that the Goodguys car show is September 21-23 at IMS. Although the Friday and Saturday are only for cars 1972 and older, this year there is the all-new “Super Sunday Get-Together” is for all years of American made and/or powered vehicles.

Ok guys and dolls, the 3rd Annual Hare Chevrolet Camaro Rally and Car Show will throw down on September 8th. Details to follow but its shaping up to be held at the Hamilton Town Center. Its a new mall that opened up in 2008 owned by Simon Properties. Should be a great event this year and from the polls and post on facebook and the other camaro sites, this is a great time to have it with all that's going on in Indianapolis this year.

So mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details.
