PDIM Install quote! What do you think?

Just got off the phone with a local dealer here in San Diego, They quoted me $275 for the install and programming of the PDIM in my 1SS, which they said would take half a day. Any suggestions? Any other avenues? I'm all ears! San Diego or even Orange County area...

Wow...You can certainly install the module yourself and just have the dealer program it. That would save you some time and $.

The PDIM install can be completed in about 40 minutes.

Plus, I would double check and ask if they've already programmed other Camaros to recognize the PDIM. There have been a few posts from members that their dealers told them they could do it but then they ended up having to make multiple trips because the dealer had issues because they didn't know how to program it.

They said they never have done it but they would try! Lol yeah no kidding don't want to make numerous trips. I might just try and do that, along with the steering wheel audio controls, make a weekend out of it. Thanks
