Care for flat black stripe
I know you can't wax the insert(black painted), but can you wax the stripe?

I know some avoid it by putting blue painters tape along the edges but I think it would depend on the texture. I had smooth vinyl hash marks on my previous car and I would wax over those without issues. For those that have the 3M cf or other textured vinyls, I wouldn't wax them.
If you're talking about actual flat paint, no you can't wax it. They do make a special soap to wash it though. |
