Serpentine Belt
What is the best cerpentine belt for a forced induction system? One that doesn't slip or wear fast. My Edelbrock S/C came with a Goodyear Gaterback belt. Someone told me a Gates green belt was better.

Regardless of which one is best always carry a spare in the trunk along with a wrench to the tensioner. If you throw or break a belt you are SOL on the side of the road unless you have one, black or green, as a spare to limp home on. It can only help and not hurt for very little money.

I haven't heard of any, but it's always better to be safe than sorry... Plus I took a picture of mine and keep it saved on the phone. That way I remeber how it is wrapped arond the pulleys. Not so much a big deal on my Camaro, but my super duty and the wifes car... well I'd be PO at 3 am on the side of the road trying to figure out how it winds around what!

Always carry a spare belt. 15mm socket. Just in case. I put the diagram under the hood.

Havent had any issues since I switched to gator belts however. They seem to work a lot better than regular.
