Cruising on the interstate...easy.
Check it out here. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212244 That is cruising at 70. I average about 24 right now due to the interstate construction re-route through the city. My mileage went up about 6-7 mpg's after around 1500 miles, not just spontaneously but gradually. It was enough that I could tell. I bought mine with 5 miles on it. |

To get 30, like awfarley alludes to, you have to get to speed and reset your Average MPGs. Otherwise, no way in hell.

Average 31-33 on the highway, 16-18 in the city. But my overall average always hovers around 23.

My LLT is stuck right at 17.3-17.4 mpg. Avg speed i think is 32mph.
6 miles to work , with >1/2 commute time sitting at lights/traffic does not make for good average. She definitely doesn't get to run much. I think on highway trips @ 78-80, i may get 24mpg avg. Not great. Better than my Avalanche on gas though.

I avg 22mpg. according to ONSTAR on my cellphone app. 2012 RS w/CAI. Havent done a long enough distance on the HWY to see where i am with that. Anybody know if there is a way to reset that info or trip info on the ONSTAR app?
I was getting 21mpg before adding the CAI.

I get 30+ on mine. Thats checked by hand and the cars computer. I reset the car at the gas station before I drive off and don't I touch it again untill the next fill up. But thats only during the warmer weather. In winter it's only 27-28.

Sure when I get off the interstate and drive a little more "spirited" my mileage plummets, but I still have the satisfaction of knowing I get great mileage otherwise. That means a lot to me, especially coming out of a early model Tacoma getting nowhere near that. |
