Ain't NOTHIN wrong with that. Most ZL1 owners are making payments. Its always good to wait things out.

if it's paid the more reason to get a ZL1, at least for me it was lol. I sold my SS for 32k, Im putting 3k out of pocket on the ZL1 and financing the other 20k.

I don't think you'll find anyone complaining about the Z. I'm making things happen on my end so when my time comes to get one I'll be able to pay the note. The funny thing is I'll be paying a hefty note on a car that I'll be driving once a week on a good week lol. It doesn't matter though because you only live once and I like to keep myself happy.

The people saying this car is "slow" are plain ignorant. They can't talk until they drive it. I took a turn at 110 the other day and it was like I was going 30. It handles amazingly. The power and acceleration times are comparable to an f430. The handling is also on par, albeit the Ferrari is much lighter. Also, if you get one you have to remove the exhaust fuse. It makes it crackle and pop all over the place and sounds absolutely incredible. Honestly, its got way more power than I'll ever use on the streets. Those of you looking for a fast car that goes in a strait line get a shelby. Those of you that want something that is more fun to drive get a ZL1. It is amazing! If you get a chance go test drive one.

So I take it dealers aren't overly resistant towards financing the Zs I have around 30k saved up right now although Id feel alot more comfortable waiting for a 13 since I'm looking at the C7... I was curious if they are just throwing them at cash up front customers first

The salesman at the dealership i'm dealing with told me that both Z's that were sold through them have been with traditional financing.

This car is incredable! For those out there that know what it is, it turns heads and you can see a little drool. It handles like a charm and makes driving easier around turns, the power and sound of the exhaust, couldn't be happier. I just can't get to the 1500 mile break in fast enough. You will be thrilled.
My dealer had no problem if I wanted to finance.
