Mirror Tap for Radar Detector Help
Can anyone clarify which color wires to tie into on a 2011? I tried using the colors explained in this DIY
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ight=Valentine But using those colors won't turn the detector on. I found a switched power and a ground but it turns the detector off when I go in reverse and is overall acting weird. Thanks for any help you can provide! |

Something is screwy then because when I use those colors I get nothing. The red wire does read 12v when I ground to the chassis but not getting a ground on the wire the DIY references....

First time I did it I got nothing too. Had to make sure I pushed in far enough to make contact. As soon as I dId I got power! Zip tied it and boom.

I've had that problem before. I just solder everything now. Takes about the same time and I know it's a solid connection.
