I got supplier pricing applied to my 2013 order

Just wanted to give people heads up. Now granted I got screwed over out of a 2012 but there were people who were saying this would not be an option.

supplier price is about 1% below invoice. 4% over employee price.

So I am pissed I am not getting a 2012 mainly because someone as well endowed as I am is not used to waiting but I am also happy I am not paying msrp. I think I just went through the car buying equievent of the tip game ha ha.

Do you think this will be possible for others or did this seem like a special deal between you and your dealer?

I asked friday when I found out I was getting pushed and they called back today and I did not have to fight very hard. I would think that someone else might be able to. I mean if you have access to supplier pricing and the 2013 is not considered a special run there is not reason a dealerhip should not except for greed.

I think that 2013 is supposed to be build to order production levels just like a vette is now. they haggle on those. I can get supplier price on any model vette.

Pricing or discounts (GM employee/retiree/family etc...) allowed is up to the individual dealership the way I understand it. Mine was MSRP, and no other discounts I had available were permitted. I was fine with that, and just plain thankfull and lucky to have it all work out the way it did!

No discount

I picked up my ZL1 today. Had big argument over employee discount. It shows on paperwork, but they refused to give it to me. It was a $1700 saving (on $61614 MSRP), but ended up paying MSRP. Since I got number #42, I wasn't about to leave over $1700, but it is disappointing how they treat GM employees and family.

That sucks if they agree'd and backed out. I had agreed to pay MSRP on my 2012 as right from chevrolet most offers were exempt on that model.

For me this is simple if my 2013 show's up and they don't give me supplier price I will just take my deposite back and go by a different car. At that point I will feel like there is some reason this car is that hard to buy. ha ha.

I don't think it iwll be an issue. supplier is price is still like 54.5k with my options. they are making money. Not sure what happens with the hood insert yet if that $600 dicount will go away or can be applied.
