now what people with weights on brakes

so what are the people doing with the weights on there brakes do u guys have to keep them on forever?

I had one of the first solstices and any model year changes were applied under warranty at my discresion...(Couple of weather stripping a brake dust plate etc....) same should be for the camaro...EG you have a different calliper then GM "should" pony up for it!

the weights were to dampen some harmonic noise in certain braking conditions (i'm guessing when you lightly brake when backing up,alot of brakes on alot of manufacters do that).They do not affect the "performance" of the brake
