RX catch can noise

Is it common for the catch can to make a rattling noise or is there a problem with mine?

I think I read a thread that mentioned occasionally there will be a rattling noise, I haven't notice it on mine yet.

Not sure how else to explain it than a rattle sound, like something is moving inside it. I hear it when the car idols.

The check valve will make a slight noise...that shows it is regulating the flow. If it is loud, then you either have the drain open (at idle, feel the drain tube and if there is suction the drain is open). or can ask for a plain fitting to replace the valve with. Some noise is normal....it is the valve regulating the flow. Loud noise and it is usually the drain valve mistakenly left open.

Ok, I'll give that a try in the morning.

Also Where can I purchase just the breather for a V6? Thanks.

Tracy (SC2150) makes the breathers also, color match also!
