Smile maintenance prices

I'm considering buying a ZL-1, but I just want to make sure I can afford it and its the right car for me. Since some of you already got their ZL1's, I was wondering how much does it cost to maintain and repair it. Is it expensive or cheap? Thnx

It a little too early in the game to ask that question. Everyone is just receiving theirs in the past few weeks. And haven't received a maintanance check

Yes I agree that its early but surely someone has at least an idea or a price range.

Shouldn't be that different for general maintenance (fluids) over any other models

Higher costs will be tires when you need to replace

Well the engine requires a decnet amount of syntetic oil so oil changes are more expensive than some cars.

automatics are sealed units now a days so they cost a bit more. Manuals will be the same. the fliud capcites are highter because of the coolers and such.

tires are more money, brake rotors are two piece, brake pads will be a tad more.

engine is 12K, tranny is $4500 so failure out of waranty is a bit more than a normal car.

IT is all about perspective. It is the same as my Z06 to maintain but more than my 300c would be to maintain.

In other words make sure you take care of your ZL1 if you receive one

Oh...and maintaining the fluids in the gas tank will be a little more too!
But just think of the fun it is to drain it!!!
