Master cylinder question

Hello,

I have a technical question.
Is the master cylinder from the Camaro 5 gen. V6 model the same as on V8 model ?

The reason I am asking this is because I want to swap it to my LS1 powered `89 Firebird Formula which already has Corvette C5 disc brakes installed. My stock 3rd gen. master cylinder is not enough to support them. Therefore I am looking for a more powerful unit.

Here is the 2010 5gen V6 pump I am going to buy:

Can anyone tell me if it will support the Corvette C5 brakes?

Thanks for any help.

Kind regards
Marcin

No they are not. When I did my Brembro conversion I bought a SS master cyclinder as the V6 has a smaller bore that the V8 since the brakes are bigger.
