Tuned Camaro

A couple questions. If you get it tuned, is it a one time thing? Will that void any of the warranty? Any place in North carolina that does this? Thanks

Most dyno tunes can be adjusted as needed depending on the mods you plan or have done, and technically it does void your warranty.... but reality is, it depends on the dealer and what happens to cause a potential problem. One option is, if you have a reputable company or even buy a hand held tuner, you can always take out the tune and reload the factory tune back in and you'll be good to go, most tuners will do that free of charge.

In NC,

There is RPM Motorpsorts, Mayhem Motorsports, There is a place in Charlotte, but don't remember the name. You may want to ask this is the Southeast section

You can go with tuning software that does not manipulate the original calibration verification numbers (CVNs) so the modified tunes will still appear as stock. The only issue then becomes the flash counter. Your tunes will appear stock (good for warranty), but the flash counter will be higher than 1.

Honestly, the services techs will typically only check the CVNs when there is a major powertrain failure (engine, transmission). If you're taking your car in for warranty work on your A/C, the chances are almost nil that they would ever bother looking at your CVNs. That's a time consuming process and the dealer is looking to turn the job around quick.
