I've been looking everywhere trying to figure this out. Is there a difference between the information available from the DIC between the 1SS and the 2SS? Does the 1SS have the Speedometer, MPG, Avg Spd, etc. or does it just have TPM, Oil life, Coolant, and Speed warning?

Thanks, that's good to know. I can get by without that, but REALLY want the avg MPG, Range, Speed, etc. I have it in my truck and it's like an addiction to instantly know this stuff

from a few GM cars i have seen the drivers information seems to be in everything now. I think its actually law to have tire pressure monitor. I agree with onstar, its a nice feature, but I have had two cars now with it and never used it. So I wont miss that.

Yeah see, what made me think of this is my step dad just got an 09' Silverado LT and it only has a few options compared to my 08' LT

Not even TPM. I went to show him all the different info it has and was like....uhhh :(. Something else that threw me off is he has leather interior and I have cloth, so I expected his to have at least what I have.

to be honest you never know these days. A lot of it goes back to the grouping of options etc. The two new GM vehicles I have bought since 06 i have been very pleased with, but have at least one option that I didnt get that I thought I was going to get.
