I was suprised how many corvettes and camaros are in the middle east. And let me tell you, those guys modify the heck out of them.

Asking for a sponsorship isn't how to go about getting one. You first want to build a good relationship with the company you are wanting to sponsor you. Then you have to convince them to sponsor you. You have to convince them that giving you discounted/free parts will make them money in the long run.
Don't beat yourself up if you can't land a sponsorship. Van Wilder once said "The wise man does not concern himself with the 99 that say No, but with the one that says Yes."
