2013 ZL1 allocations update thread
Hi fellow future 2013 ZL1 owners.
Has your dealer received any allocations yet for MY 2013 which is a carry over from unfilled MY 2012's. If so how many did they receive and about when did they receive them? Since allocations are really the most important step forward to recieving ours cars, I thought this would be pretty informative for all of us. At this time my dealer has not received his one and only carry over allocation for MY 2012 to be used for the first round of MY 2013. Thank you for your feed back.

Update my dealer called me like 20 minutes ago to let me know they will know more about the allocations tomorrow.
Some of you may know that i've had a difficult time getting my ZL1 and it sounds like I complain alot. But this being my third dealer and finally one that will actually keep me informed is some thing to celebrate about . I never really wanted to name the dealers who really dissappointed me over the past 15 months. Frankly I just wanted to move forward and find a dealer that would treat me that way I would treat others if the roles were reversed. That being said if you live in the Washington DC area and are looking for a ZL1 or any other camaro. Please give Frank Marinucci a call at Oursman Rockmont Chevy (301) 424-5900. Not only does he sells camaros but owns a nice white SS which I got to see last night. He has gone to camaro functions and understands the thrill of owning one of these vehicles. I hope it's not against the rules to recommend a dealer on these forums .

All I know is that I ordered my 2013 ZL1 Vert back on 4-19, and I just got a call from the dealer 5-14 telling me that they had just been informed that they were only getting a single allocation for a 2013 ZL1 vert for the next six months. I didn't even think to ask them about the coupes.

I'm still sitting at 1102 with a 2012 order. I don't have a clue about the move over to 2013. I figured my dealer would have changed it by now? I just want to drive the car for a few months before the snow flies.
If not I'll have to cancel my order and wait for spring, or move over to the dark side. Corvette, not GT500. I'd have to blind myself to buy a mustang, lol.

Well I called and my delership has gotten the allocation numbers and just said that as soon as they were allow to order the they would use the allocation and give me a new order number at that point.
I have no issue with that because the order numbers they give out before GM actually accepts the allocation are basically worthless I have had a 2012 order number sitting at 1100 since NOV.
