iPad retrofit?

Anyone attempt to outfit the dash with the iPad yet? I'm thinking of doing this in the near future

I have seen a couple. One was in front of the passenger and the other I think was where the stock stereo was.

Hmm... I'm thinking of something that wouldn't change much of the factory set-up. I wouldn't want to block the factory stereo or gauges on my console. I'm thinking on putting one on the overhead... a bit slanted so I'm able to see it still.... But I'm wondering on how much it will block, if at all, the rearview mirror...

I wonder if you could have it slide out and up from within the glove box? I don't have one or I would check the fit.

I'm hearing Apple is going to release an "iPad Mini" this fall. I'd like to see that retrofitted into our cars.

I would never cut into my dash like that...This way I can do when I want to and actually does stay in place!! The magnets hold in place without and issue...I have Ghost Armor protectant on ipad and also on radio cover so no way to scratch.
