Show me your grille
Taking my SS to paint shop, getting the mailbox slot & upper part of bumper(just below lights & grille) painted a flat black, plus trunk blackout panel painted the flat black.
They have to pull entire front bumper to paint the specified areas and guy said if I want to replace grille, nows my chance Soooo... don't want something that is flimsy cheap plastic. But do need something that is direct replacement without any modifications. Ran a search but couldn't find a whole lot of info. Need some input on which grille is best, best made/durable and is direct replacment. Pics would be nice (esp on IOM car)

Most people will say Heritage grille, use the search option.

A lot of folks like the Heritage Grille...check out this thread, I am sure you will find one on an IOM. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...eritage+grille
I have the Heritage Grille (upper) and Street Scene (lower) with the ACS T3 Front Fascia...

You could always go with the Heritage grille or the ZL1 grille.

I did use the search option to discover 105 pages of threads talking about everything but grilles & their quality. Maybe I typed the wrong query wording.
I have looked at the Heritage photos, I liked the painted body color around frame & black grille center. But is this plastic? How sturdy / durable is it? Is it a direct replacement without modifiying? I like the SS in the center too, but to me it looks a bit crooked? Thanks

Grille can make a huge difference on appearance, just depends on style you are looking for. Heritage I hear is good and the ZL grille but a lot of people don't like to mix and match

I vote for the ZL1 grill. But I am biased.

Stock grill painted gloss black is very simple and clean imo. Not the best pics

Never thought to paint the stock grille... interesting alternative & looks very clean.
Thanks all for the pics & input.

I will be putting this on my Camaro next spring. My wife said I've blown the budget for Camaro mod's for 2012.
