Anyone else Jeep wave...in their Camaro??
I've only driven past 4 other Camaros (3 of them were 5th Gen) since I got mine. By driving past I mean they are going in the opposite direction as I am. The first one I waved to...don't know if he waved back but the guy did look over. The second time was with a 4th Gen LS1...I waved with hand out the window and everything but no return wave. Maybe he didn't get it. The third one I thought to do it but for some reason I didn't. Perhaps I was traumatized by the LS1 rejection. The fourth one was a couple days ago. An older man in white Camaro (couldn't see if it was an SS...) was driving towards me and flicked his high beams...got closer and waved so I waved back. His car was definitely modded on the exterior with an awesome grille. It was pretty cool. So I decided that I would Jeep wave every Camaro from hence forth.
Regardless of the car you're in I still consider it a Jeep wave since those guys were the first to make it an official known thing. But I think now is a good chance to make the 5th Gen wave a mandatory social obligation. So next time you drive by a Camaro (especially a 5th Gen) in your Camaro...do the Jeep wave. Has this been covered on here before? |

Never heard of a jeep wave, but it's been covered quite a few times on here. I wave when I'm driving my 5th gen since it's a "me too" car, but in my 4th gen I don't usually wave.

I've gotten waves (and returned them) from a few different gens of camaro. No one ever waves or pays attention to me when I'm driving my Jeep.

Try the bike wave while in your car and have been riding the two wheeler for a few days. Have to laugh at myself when i do that while passing a bike in opposite direction.

I wave all the time, But im not giving the wave thing to jeeps, I think it belongs to motorcyclists first. Bahh who cares anyway. It might have been me that flicked the highbeams at ya, where in jersey are ya, im in the northwest area usually in sussex and morris counties.
