Help! Manual or Auto?

I am having a hard time figuring this out. I was set on the manual but I test drove a v6 today. I kinda like the touch shift but I also like the manual. I do have a wife that may want to drive as well.. Maybe if I let her But I am really torn on which way to go. Will it be worth more in the long run if I have a manual or automatic? I have to let my dealer know by Monday to switch my order. Looking for your suggestions...

Ordered: CGM 2SS/RS with Rally Stripes

Get the manual.. You pretty much answered your own ? in the 2nd sentence. But thats just my opinion.. whenever I get mine it will be the manual and if the wife wants to drive it she will just have to learn..(on something else) lol

Autos are fun, but manuals integrate you into the entire driving experience more. Unless you plan on eating burgers while driving; that is easier while driving an auto, but THERE WILL BE NO FOOD IN MY CAR!

Auto's of course. (because they cost more and are generally lot easier to resale).

If this were a v6 i would say sure get the auto.. but come on man... this car was meant to be a manual... not to mention you lose the 26hp with auto

Auto in the long run will be of more value.. Manuals are becoming harder and hard to re-sell..

You have to get what makes you happy.

The Automatic is made in USA at Willow Run Transmission plant, in Ypsilanti, MI.

Why be so practical? What will make you happy? That's the important factor. It's like worrying about the resale value of a washing machine. Just wash the clothes.
