Long day, but 1771 is home!!!!

Woke up to an email from GM Connects and a Voice message from my salesman. Car showed up sometime early Saturday morning before they opened. Ran over took a look, was able to strip the plastic myself, and had them do the PDI and only had it hand washed. I know the detailer for close to 20 years, and I know how he does things, so I let him wash it. He even went as far as getting a special Micro Fiber wash mit the he only uses on his own truck because he knows it is clean.

Ran back home, grabbed the checkbook and sone other paperwork, and when I got back everything was ready to go, signed the papers, wrote the check, and drove it home.

Went over it with Zaino Z6 Spray detailer to start. Will give it a coat of Zaino Z-2 next. Car had 8 miles when it was unloaded.

Already blacked out the Bowties.....

Installed Side Vent Insert Decals.....

Installed wheel Center Bowtie Insert Decals....

A few more.......

Yeah, we keep the side vents and bowties pre cut because we sell so many, so I just grabbed a couple things from stock and installed them.

Car is VR.

Looks great. Congratulations! Good thing you know the PDI person. I wouldn't let the dealer wash my car and I'm glad I didn't adther finding out later how they do it.

NICE!

You guys should make the ZL1 decals. I'd buy a set. The same length as the insert on the hood...

We have the Bowtie Decals here..... http://www.ridergraphix.com/2010_Cam..._Blackout.html

The Carbon Fiber ones are a one off set I cut from a sample piece of material that I had. If we decide to start selling the material, I will be able to make them, but right now, the material is too expensive to buy for just bowties.
