Hey guys,
Won a free smooth lock from Jason D over at camaroz28.com and finally got to take pictures of it installed. Not the best camara in the world, but give you a better idea how they look on the car. In my opinion, go to the site and buy them now! Even though i got them for free, i would pay 10 bucks for these. THEY LOOK GREAT! and they just complete the clean look.

Yea there is some, i havent yet seen a camaro with out some. Just how life is lol. Most camaros i have seen have it around the door handle like mine.

Other then my g8 I have never seen a stock gm paint job without some peal .

Someone needs to make a replacement part without the lock mechanism in it so it would really look clean.

You're not crazy at all. Orange peel big time my friend, big time. But I saw a Mercedes S600 AMG which costs around $130K with much more visible orange peel than this Camaro. Anyhow, it is sad to see such a beautiful car with not the best paint job.

btw, I owned a black Audi A4 and had the most smooth paint job I've ever seen. No orange peel.

I would get one but the paint cost more than the actual product. $16 for a can of SIM spray paint. Plus I would prefer to clearcoat it and that is another $15.

If they ever offer a SIM smothlock I will purchase on the spot.

Is that orange peel in the clear coat? If so couldn't it be wet sanded out?
