My v6er vs...
Lately I have been wondeing how my car compares some others of people I know. Right now I have a roto-fab cai with apex scoop, black ice-olator, trifecta tune, mrt v2; I haven't gotten a chance to dyno my car so idk what my rwhp is. So with that said I would like to know peoples opinions on how my car would hold up in a 1/4 mile with these cars:
Dad: 2009 BMW 335i Friend 1: Stock 2011 v6 Mustang Friend 2: 2011 GTI (apparently with an ECU upgrade giving him 250hp) I say apparent cause he tends to lie a lot. Gfs Dad: 2002 Mustang GT with a catback Now i really dont care about the outcomes I am just a little curious. Now I have drove my dad's car and dam it is quick so I have a feeling I would lose. I would also think I would lose to the mustang gt since its a v8. I think I would win against my friends v6 stang and I am not really sure about the gti. Also I think I may attach a poll to see which would win out of all of them. Last edited by kjkjr27; 09-16-2012 at 10:08 PM. |

I personally think you would beat them all in a quarter mile with your mods

The 335i would smoke them all no comparison. twin turbo v6
with a few mods that car can have 400 whp. it runs 13.5 stock compared to camaro v6 14.3 i think the mustang v6 and others you can beat. |

It does....but the torque comes on real low...and car weighs around 3600 lbs...so that's good for low 5 sec 0-60 and mid 13 sec 1/4 mile. As to your list - here is my official internet speculation based on guessing and random assumptions: BMW - you lose. See above. v6 stang - mid 5 second cars arent' they? Your mods might get you close. Drivers race. GTI - eh, I doubt the 250 hp so you got him. 2002 stang GT - Similar to v6 stang. Mid 5 second car. I think you lose but close enough to be a drives race. Run some of these to 60 or so and let us know. |

I'd say against BMW you'd lose.
Mustang V6 it depends. Against the one with the higher rear end ratio I give you the advantage. Against one with the 3.31s I'd say drivers race, with advantage to the mustang beating you. GTI...I vote you. 2002 Mustang GT. They can sound mean as heck but if they don't have some decent mods they aren't really that fast. I say its a drivers race with advantage to you beating it.

Driver's race: both Mustangs DEPENDING ON the setup and transmission of each I Don't know?: VW, I would say it could technically pick up 50 Crank HP from a tune, that is the beuty of factory forced induction. Also if I am not mistaken, the Golf R or whatever they call it, now comes with 250 HP straight from the factory. |
