On a pretty bad track prep with DA of 2000' we went 10:8 @ 130 on a 1.63. Mods are New Era intake, KDi ported blower, KDi heat exchanger and 2.5" upper pulley, cat delete and NW102 TB. We ran this on 18" MT DR's. We only made one pass before someone crashed and it took forever to clean up.

It's got a 10:60 in it but we are going to pull it apart for the next round.

Time to update the bolt on list. Time slip will be uploaded.

Update: Although things were supposed to close down and we were packing it in, they let us get in another run. 10:7 @ 130 on a 1.599. Time slip will be posted.

That's more like it. Its nice to see that you guy's got one to run like they should run. It would be nice to see what it would run with the rest of the "bolt on" type stuff and some better weather because it would shut allot of people up when you ran a low ten @ 135 with a bolt on car.
How much boost were you seeing at the track in that DA?

Again, good job because I was almost starting to lose faith in these cars and KD innovations saved the day.

We expect to go faster than low 10's on DR's. We expect 9's with our next set of mods but it's up to the track prep and man it is getting hot out there. So far this car has 4 passes on it.

Aaron's first phase will be low 10's and his future mods may put him in the 9's as well.

Boost is just over 13 psi.

I don't doubt you that you will get it in the 9s. I have been reading some of the stuff you guy's have been doing with the Caddys and its impressive.
I would just like to see what you could do with all the basic stuff that the average joe would do. I have no doubt that your heads and cam setup with fly it's just cool to see what they run without going into the motor.
Light weight wheels,headers and exhaust, and some basic race prep stuff like sway bar.ice it down, ect. and then go low 10s.

I would say that your car the way it sits now at Atco in the fall will probably go 10.30/40s. I know my Turbo Buick used to pick 2 to 3 tenths going from New england drag way in the summer to Atco in october.

Thanks for your your support. We plan to go 9's with the basic stuff and not going into the motor. It will take a little bit to make it happen though.
