Camaro spotted in Austin, TX! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

As I was running late for work weaving out of stop and go traffic just like 'Office Space', I spotted this beauty in my rear view mirror. I'm pretty sure it was a 1SS model, IBM. The guy who was driving must be used to people snapping pictures or was oblivious to the fact that I was half way out my window drooling! I took these pics while I was driving on my iPhone, needless to say, not the best quality. The sound as he gave it a little throttle was great. We need MORE Camaros on the road in Austin...hopefully I will add to the number soon.

Sweet! I saw two saturday night at chilis one silver with black stripes and a red one. Its nice to finally start seeing them on the road!

Was this yesterday or today? That traffic looks like it might have been yesterday. You were close, it’s an IBM 2SS. Sorry I wasn’t trying to ignore you... Just trying not to rear end the car in front of me, with the way Austin drivers love to slam on their brakes! I have been trying to wave to all the people I see looking. Thanks for the compliments!

If KK2010SS or anyone else who has one in Austin plan to hit up any cruise ins or just plan to head downtown some time let me know, I would love to come drool over yours for a few minutes.

SilverTurtle and Raven know of or organize a cruise in at the Cabela's in Buda if y'all are interested in hitting that up sometime. Saturday nights at 7 I believe.

I was actually out at Cabela's this past Saturday, but the rain put a crimp on things. There were only a couple mustangs out there. It would be great if we could get a couple 5th gens out to a meet soon! I can't make it this weekend but I am going to plan on being at Cabela's in Buda on Saturday May 30th if anyone wants to come down.

I saw a CGM at HEB in Round Rock on Sunday. Whoever it was sure was brave parking that nic new car in that parking lot, next to one of those grocery cart racks to boot!
