Track tunning lower et

Alright guys want to know will track tunning lower my et at track.
What hptuner kit should i get for data logging.
Is there one to log a/f and will a tuner be able to see if the trans is sliping?
And what the stall is doing down the track locking or not locking?
Thanks very much I am new to the whole data logging tuning stuff.

And a side note i found a guy selling hp tuner pro on craigslist could this be used on my car? Thanks again guys

It really depends on how your car is performing. I was at the track, Ted made a 2 minute adjustment, and I gained 2mph. So, yes, you can improve your car at the track for certain conditions.

For logging AFR and external sensors you want the pro. You could use it on your car to log. To adjust anything you may need to purchase credits which are $100 per car. A new HPtuners setup for $650 comes with enough for 4 cars.

You can log input and output shaft rpm.

Not sure on the 6L80 stuff but the older GM 4L65E would show you delivered engine torque as well as logging the input and output shaft.

Biggest deal with an L99 auto car that would help you lower ET would be adjusting the short shift in the stock trans calibration.
