2SS IBM AUTO Invoiced and Shipped to California!!

I was contacted by my dealer today and he told me and e-mailed me my GM invoice for VIN#9436. It also showed an ETA for arrival of 5/22/09 to the Distribution Center here in Northern California. So I should be getting the car sometime next week!!!!
I have been checking for my window sticker via the VIN# tracking spreadsheet that UCF has been updating and it is still not on there, yet it has been invoiced with all my accurate details. All 3 cars allotted to my dealer including the initial showroom car have been shipped or are in route, so GM is doing some things right.
I am aware that alot of members have had their cars produced and are sitting in QC or bayed, etc. for a good amount of time and none of us have any real answers for this. I know a few things about my car and the other 3 ordered at my dealer that might have been the reason for an accurate order placement and delivery timetable:
1) My order was a dealer alloted vehicle
2) No Constraints
3) No Striping PKG.
4) Was produced after the battery issue was found and corrected

That is the only reasoning that I can come up with as to why some cars are being produced,shipped,and delivered and others have been waiting.

Hope this helps! I just wanted to give those that are waiting and reading the forums here, like myself, that things are picking up in production and cars are moving to the dealers. Hopefully those cars that have been produced and have been sitting somewhere will just start showing up at dealers.

From you're Sig Event Code list it looks like a nice smooth fast order for you. EXCELLENT.
My Codes from 3000 down almost match yours exactly so hopefully my deliver is next week too!!!

yeah same here so there is some good news about orders after the 8k mark. my is on its way and is supposed to arrive on the 28th. the only reason why it took longer is because i recieved stripes from the factory so everyone after 8k should not be mad at GM they are on their way.

I ordered from Novato Chevrolet at MSRP, they even said they are going to pick-up the price increase that took place on 4/1. It was only $45 but it just shows the honesty and professionalism of the dealer to do that.

and i believe because since you have the rp6 code on your window sticker i think Gm pays the dealer the difference too. But still they were honest

I work right next to that dealer, stopped in when they had the yellow 2LT there, they really are a great dealer

Good to hear!! I did everything over the phone and they have kept me updated ever since and are selling their allotments at MSRP. I do not know if they have allotments at the present time but call and ask for Mark(manager) or Paul(internet manager).
