Wow! Odd Camaro sighting!
I've been convinced for awhile that there aren't any Camaro's on the road here in the Northeast, or at least in my area...
I have a corner office with windows that run all along the wall, and I happen by chance to look out, and out sitting in our visitor lot is a Dark Blue (Don't know all of the color acronymns yet) non-SS camaro. Can't really take a picture of it, since we're not allowed to have camera's at work... but it was VERRRY refreshing. Makes me want my order to go even faster I wonder if they would get an odd feeling if I was out there oogling all over their car...

If it was a dark blue, that's likely IBM--Imperial Blue Metallic

You'll always remember your first sighting. Mine was a yellow RS about a week ago

Verio-don't be bagging on Passat (LOL)
My daily driver for the last ten years has been a 1999 Passat V6. I am the only Passat owner in the country without a single horror story or significant complaint. Admittedly I put some bucks into mods. That being said, I can't wait to get the Camaro.

My mother's boyfriend went down to Herb Chambers in Danvers yesterday to see what they had. Apparently they had a Black V6 (not sure exactly which trim level) w/ the IOM interior as well as a Black SS which was out back getting prepped for a delivery today which means that there's going to be at least one in my area soon. |

I work in Tewksbury, but I live in Billerica.
And as for the Passat... I'm trying to get rid of this damned thing before stuff starts falling off. Three days after I bought it off the dealer lot, I got a CEL, get it fixed. Month goes by, CEL reappears... yadda yadda. I had to replace all of the coils that go above the spark plugs. It wasn't covered under Warranty because it's a "Maintenance" issue. BS. It was nice at first, but someone stole my front right grill off, so it looks like a POS :(

Woot... Camaro is here again. I get to oogle at it everyday it seems. I'm going to have to ambush the owner and live vicariously through him for the next few months.

Mine has been built but not invoiced (Got it at Best in Hingham). They have a 1LT/RS in Victory Red that they drive all the time.
I also saw a Black one on Rt. 24 this past weekend. I believe it was also a dealer car.

You wouldn't believe the amount of people that are stopping outside of my office at work to look at this car. Of course I have to get up and educate them on the specifics of it...
