Have there been any 12 on 12 comparisons yet?
I was just wondering if there have been any 2012 GT500 vs. 2012 ZL1 comparisons yet? To me it seems a bit more fair than testing the 2013 GT500 against the 2012 ZL1.

I guess it would be more fair, but the cars came out within a few weeks of each other, which is why the 12 vs 13 is happening.
Fords always come out with the new model year really early. hell I think 2013 Mustangs started shipping in late may |

The ZL1 already chews up the 13 GT500 on the track. Remove the horsepower advantage and I sure the 12 would get destroyed. It would most likely loose at the strip too.

Chews it up on half the tracks, gets beaten the other half.
Road courses are made up of more than turns. If these comparisons are the gt500 getting chewed up, then is the zl1 getting pooped out at the drag strip? |

I agree with you on the road track but on the drag strip it would be a drivers race. Stock 2012 GT500 can run 11.9's.

I think he meant the 12 GT500 and 12 ZL1 would be a driver race on the 1/4
