2012/2013 Camaro ZL1 Factory License Plate Bracket

Just wondering if the ZL1 comes with the factory license plate bracket mounted when it arrives at the dealer or does the dealer drill the holes and mount them on. Is there any way to have them not mount it or drill any holes in the bumper wether from the factory or dealer. I hate the stock bracket and i'll be damned if they ruin my front bumper!!!!!

The dealer does the install. If you don't want it, make sure you tell them before the car comes in.

I have reminded my dealer like 10 times not to install. I try real hard not to offend the guy, but I am paranoid. My dealer says that they default to NOT installing them on Camaros...Only install if customer asks...Ill pay the fix-it ticket no prob...In California.

Or you can get the corvette mount and mount it to the bottom of the fascia without drilling into it like a bunch of people have done.

Just an idea.

I live like 5 miles north of the PA state line and the front plate is not required there. I told them not to put it on. They didn't and I will never put it on. I have driven 1250 miles all in NY and haven't had any problems yet. Knock on wood. I have several buddies that are town cops and they said they don't care, but the state boys might mess with you.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was thinking about buying the jac fab bracket but the maker said hes working on a prototype for the zl1. I just hope it doesnt mount underneath the splitter cuz tht will definately scrape when i pull in my driveway. Any other ideas??? How low is the front end???
