Hey, East-siders!

and any of you west-siders who are interested, the Inland Northwest Camaro Club's 22nd annual show is coming up on Sunday, Aug 12. It's being held in the small town of Deer Park about 20 minutes north of Spokane on 395. We had a great turnout of 5th gens last year so I hope to see lots of you this year.

Also, this club has an aging membership and we need some new blood. Last night I heard at our meeting that the local mustang club is going through the same thing, but their membership has dwindled to the point of they are considering next years show to be their last. They've been doing their show for 29 years! So if you want to keep an active club going, now is the time to join, and help take some of the responsibilities on so those who have been doing all the work for all this time can retire gracefully, trusting the new blood to carry on the tradition. We have the "Camaro Cafe", serving food for 4 different clubs at their shows as well as at our own show.

We need new members, we need volunteers for the show, we need sponsors, and we need people with awesome cars to show up. Last year we had about 150 cars, great weather, and a lot of fun. Please join us this year! 150 goodybags including samples from Adams, raffles, great trophies for first, second and third places, and even a Skydog competition.

Come join us!

Hmmm... I have an appointment in the early afternoon on the 11th, but might be able to head east right afterwards. If I go, can I clean Ladybug up at your house???

The guys from 22Dyno have a mobile dynomometer and they are willing to come out IF we can line up at least 10 people who will commit to their service.
Members can commit for $60.00 = 3 pulls
Non-members will have to pay $70.00 = 3 pulls
Here's your chance to see what kind of hp you are really pushing

Jeanette I think I'd take him up on that, really I live on a dirt road, have to do a complete detail when I get to a show just to take the dust off. If I drive out of here at about 3 mph it's not too bad but it's a third of a mile I lovingly refer to as "moon dust death lane".
I'm sure looking forward to seeing you though!

Tom reminded me there's something local to go to... Since it's a Sunday, and I work early Monday, probably best to stay closer to home. Maybe next time!
