Ordered my 2SS/RS Black/Black on November 21st. Just got the call from my dealer Tues. that my car was built and gave me my VIN #

ordered 11/3, built 5/8, shipped 5/13, still don't have it..... I am better off than a lot of early orderers, though......

Ordered mine on the 1st of November and have been at 3400 since 5-12-09. GM Customer Service Called me last week and said that my TPW was the 18th of this month, but when I called my dealer on the 19th he had no new information and no VIN or even if my status had changed, so who knows.

Wondering if it is ever going to happen.

I'm OK with a few getting their's before me but ordering after me because that is just gonna happen. What gets me is that it is not just a few....it is literally HUNDREDS that waited until 2009 to order and have VINs or are driving around already.

The only way to deal with it =

I know what you mean, I am really getting impatient but what can we do? I dont' drink, so I have to hit the gym.

Vin #2072 ordered 11/4/08. Delivered to dealer 5/21. Awaiting MSO and invoice. Order date has nothing to do with being pulled by GM for production. It is governed by law. This law prevents a "payola" situation and a subsequent monopolistic situation on the part of dealers. 2072 sat in QC for over seven weeks. It won't be long. Call the inventory manager at your dealership for an update once a week. Thursdays are a good day for that update because GM lets a dealer know on that day what they will be pulling effective the following tuesday. When you get the update be sure he /she checks page two "History of Event Codes". I checked on thursday with the IM and was still at 4B00 and the car showed up on the following wednesday. Go figure. So if you are looking for exactness, for your own piece of mind, don't expect it.

I ordered mine Nov. 17th, 2008 from Taconic Chevrolet and still waiting...

Ok, ya'll are asking for November orders, but I ordered October 16 and am still waiting. She was born on 5/11 and I have a vin, but no car yet! I am so looking forward to this car! I hope this week, but who knows......
