Need some Help/Advice for my Camaro

So, being from Central California originally, we don't see a lot of rain. I have these rust spots on my Camaro behind my rims from driving in the rain. :( I'm not sure what to use to get rid of them and keep them from coming back. Any advice would be great! I wanna keep my baby shining.

BTW, loving my new home in WA. But damn if it's not hard to keep my cars in tip-top shape. LOL!

That will happen when it rains and/or you wash the car. It is normal, nothing to worry about at all. It's just surface rust.

Your discs have iron in them that’s normal. Drive it, apply breaks as normal all gone till the next time moister hits it.

I was told a while back not to use anything to clean them, it may be greasy, then your brakes won't work! (that advice came along with a funny story of someone using WD-40 to clean them... YIKES!!)
You'll notice it look bad after washing, or after rain. But, it will be completely gone when the roads are dry after you've used your brakes.

Glad you are liking your new home in WA!! Most of us here really love it. You will learn to appreciate the rain when you go visit someplace else that is totally brown from lack of it.

Yeah that rust will show up in a matter of hours or even minutes if the rotors get wet. Not a big deal.

Okay, awesome! Thanks everyone! I myself am from a dry, brown place, so you don't see a lot of these spots. Makes sense now that I think about it. I'm leanring. Got pretty good at driving in the rain already!
