insurance rates

I checked the search funtcion but didnt get much . I am paying a decent rate with State Farm . Unfortunately they have raised my rates twice in 1yr . No tickets or accidents . Low milage(7500) two cars . Common sense dictates a lowering of rates due to decreased value of my car . I hate bait & switch companies .
My question is: Can anyone suggest a better(cheaper) company ?
2012 SS, thnx,
JIM

USAA, if you're eligible.

USAA has been good to me for a few years now.
Never had a problem with them or their prices and their
customer service is awesome as well.

This is so true.

wierd. I have state farm (3 vehicles) and my rates have not increased (knock on wood). Have you moved or are you at the same location? I moved further south 8 yrs ago and my rates actually dropped due to the location.

Mine have gone down every 6 months for the past 1.5 years. Just got my renewal in the mail this past week, another drop in premium.

What is State Farms reeson for raising your rate with nothing on your history?

According to my agent, the calculation for rate hikes goes by state. They have risk models for every state.

I agree with USAA if you are eligible. We pay a low premium for 2 cars. About $82 a month.

Debating switching to them from Progressive even though I've been with Progressive for like 7 years....the rates are too high. Plus....I won't let them plug their speed snapshot device into my car. F that big brother crap.

I have USAA, ~$160 month for my car, wife's car and renters insurance. Not bad for only being 21. Especially if you have a beater, USAA is perfect as for my 91 Chevy S10 I paid a whopping $26 a month for it. This is of course if you qualify for USAA.

It varies by state. Before moving to PA, SF lowered my rate every six months (a few dollars at a time). As soon as I moved, it spiked. Now it's up, up, and up. With no tickets or accidents (ever). It is still "low", but I guess I should start shopping around as well.
