Leg room & front tag spot???
One more thing that I am worried about is leg room. IM 6'2" and I just watched a video on youtube and the guy seemed like he was a lil cramped in the driver seat.
ALso I dont live up north, but I noticed that there is not a place for your tags at the front of the car forthose who have to have them in the front and back.I understand its just a concept car, just a few things that i noticed. Fast Foward to 5'00 to see his legs while sitting in the car However, I love this car soooo much already that I will deal with it "IF" it is a bit cramp.

I'm 603 myself. I was told it was a little cramped for those who drove it earlier, but hopefully the push that seat back just a bit.

Did they say if it was cramped to the point where is was uncomfortable to drive?
I dont want to pick up a hot chick and then she gets in and see this tall guy all uncomfortable and contorted in the drivers seat. That would not be cool

I'm thinking it will be okay. The overall proportions seems to be about the dimensions of the drivers space in my Saab and I got a bit of room to spare, and I'm 6'3".

I hate imagining how it will look with a license plate up front. Stupid communist fascist California lawmakers. [grumbles].

Keeping in mind that it is not a production vehicle, I can tell you that the manual mechanism for adjusting the driver's seat is a royal PITA! So much so, that I gave up trying to adjust it when I drove it... and I'm sure I wasn't the only one who gave up! (You don't wanna know what has to be done to put gas in the thing!!) I'm 6'1" and like to sit a little closer in a manual car than in an auto (for clutch feel), and I got used to the position I was in very quickly. Other people who had more patience than I had that day were able to slide the seat back quite a bit. The really good news is that the amount of back seat leg room was a very pleasant surprise, and I hope GM is able to maintain the back seat configuration in the production model. Best regardSS, Elie

Yeah, recall that the tracks for the front seats are mounted a little ways up on the center console and door sills rather than the floor to improve rear seat leg room. Steps like that probably indicate creating good passenger space is on the designer's mind.

Florida requires no front license plate, and it's always bugged me that there's the indented area on the front fascia of my Mustang for one.

Hmm, yeah, thats annoying, having separate standards. Some cars don't have built in front license plat spots, so they're just bolted on the front in states that requite them and it looks awkward (like the Cobalt, Camaro, and Corvette). On the other hand, cars like the Mustang have a section built in, like you said, and in states that don't require front plates, it just looks awkward. All states should go to a single rear plate standard. So much better that way.

And some cars have what I consider the best compromise between the two. The indentation for the front plate is molded in the front bumper, but it comes with a 'filler plate' that fills that void when no front plate is required. I won't put a plate on the front of my Camaro though. I never had an issue in the past when I left it off my '00 S10 Xtreme (which had the 'filler plate'). Besides, the cops should be more worried about all the uninsured/unlicensed illegals than a missing front plate... |

Amen. Yes they should, but all too often you get the guys who just love nothing better than to nail some otherwise law abiding driver for something so stupid as no front license plate. I mean I could see if red light cameras and the like took pictures only of the front of the car, but they can get the back, so I don't see how it matters.
