Cold air intake ? s
My recently purchased 2010 SS has a Cat Back GM Performance exhaust system which was installed at the dealer by the previous owner where he bought the car new and ultimately traded it in and where i bought it from. The vehicle is certified from the dealer with a bumper to bumper warranty thru 12/14. I know GM makes a CAI which probably costs more than an aftermarket . My ?s Are 1) has anyone tried the GM CAI 2) Is there anything else i need to do along with the CAI (throttle body) 3) is it worth the extra $ to purchase parts thru dealer and have them install to keep warranty valid . THanks in advance

Just curious....anybody know the GM part number for CAI? I've seen the GM exhaust options, but never a CAI.

I wouldn't waste your money. Go aftermarket.

It probably would have been too expensive anyway.
As others have said, go aftermarket. I just got mine from CAI Inc and I LOVE it!

They never released it and it was just a shiny version of the factory one anyway. Get CAI or Roto-Fab IMO.

I really want to add an intake but I am concerned about the performance without a tune. My 2LT that I had run super rich after the CAI.inc and Magnaflow exhaust mods. Anyone having those issues on the SS? I am absolutely not tuning until my warranty is over.
