Question need some help from some pros about some chips wanna try.

I've been looking some chips to put into my new 2012 SS and im wondering if someone could shine some guidance on what i should get. i have been looking at a lot of different types of chips but im not sure due to the price which varies from 75-400 bucks.

ok but in all honesty I think a custom tune far exceeds a chip and is way better in the long haul

it's not a ricer thing, it's an 80s thing. chips were for when you had to actually remove the rom from your ecu and replace it. the term "chipping your car" stuck and now people who don't know quite what they are talking about still refer to it.

companies sell these worthless things to take advantage of those people. ecu's today have reprogramable memory and you do it with a computer.

if someone calls says they have a chip or want to get a chip. they don't want what they are doing.

Another thing is do you have any mods on your car? If not a tune isn't going to do much but set you back 500
