Need Rally Stripe Spacing Info

How far apart are these stripes? I am installing my Rally Stripes tomorrow and need to know how far apart they are supposed to be?

Any Info would be appreciated!

See photo attached with red arrow showing the area that I am talking about.

If they are the good GM stripes, the overlay acts as a template for the center spacing and gap at the top of the hood. Why the aftermarket doesn't do that is odd. With the GM stripes the only measurement you have to do is find the hood center line. The gap ends up about 3".

But you can't just go by the 3", you have to also finess the top edge so there is a consistent gap all along the top. When it is placed correctly, the top edge should be a consistent 1/8" gap of body paint showing at the top of the hood, and 1/4" gap at the bottom. Those gaps are more important than the center which will end up at approx 3". But if those 1/8"s and 1/4" are even a hair off, it will be very noticeable versus if the center gap is a hair off.

I set the center first with the squeegy in just a small spot, then pull up the top of the stripe to perfect it with an 1/8" gap at the top. All while someone is holding the bottom, and keeping it straight. Then squeegy down the bottom (nose) last while the helper keeps pulling it to a perfect 1/4" gap at the bottom, and watching that the center gap stays consistent. It's definately a two person job and plan on the first set being practice.

The front should end up just like this. Same 1/4" gap between the main stripe to the pinstripe as the 1/4" gap to the hood edge. Then just an 1/8" all across the top near the windshield. About 3" between the two pinstripes.

Im having FastSigns here in Naples install them for me tomorrow for $60, really cant beat that and I can also stay and watch while they do it.

They had to order the 3M vinyl color for my stripes because I didnt want Gloss and I didnt want Matte, I wanted Semi-Gloss Orange and I think it will look good as hell like that on my Summit White SS!
