Cool! I have the same kind of idea for my GoPro video as well, but since I have footage from two cameras (one facing forward, one facing back) I'm trying to figure out how to sync them both and then crop and merge them into a single frame.
Still scratching my head on that one...

Nice! If you have Final Cut I believe there's a way to set up a multi-camera view where you can add pics/video and designate which spot on the screen in belongs in. Haven't tried it myself, but there's gotta be a "how to" video out there somewhere, good luck!!

Thanks! I will definately check into that. Windows Live Movie Maker isn't cutting it for what I want to do...
